Design Assistant // Studio AHEAD

January ‘23-present

• I work as a Design Assistant at Studio AHEAD where I assist the lead designers on their projects and manage other studio related tasks. Here is a list of some more of the work I do for Studio AHEAD.

  -Assist with all phases of design and office administration
  -Develop relationships with vendors, artists, and new clients
  -Manage FF&E, including vendor, contractor & client communication, gathering specifications, creating proposals, purchase orders, invoices, purchasing, expediting, tracking, & installation
  -Organize and coordinate all photoshoots, including curating staging pieces, communication and loan contracts for borrowed pieces, being on set assisting with client relations, set up and break down, styling, etc.
  -Manage business development including email outreach to other designers to present our furniture, regular mail to reach new clients, managing sites like Houzz Pro, AD Pro, and The Expert to generate new leads
  -Organize and send a monthly newsletter featuring our monthly blog on local creatives (California : A Journal), any recent publications or exhibitions and more

  -Graphic design including creating logos, website and social media graphics, invitations, exhibition graphics, and more.
  -Draft floor plans, elevations, furniture etc using AutoCAD & SketchUp
  -Assist with/create client presentations
  -Keep detailed meeting notes, task lists and calendars on multiple projects at a time
  -Errands & visits to job sites
  -Recruiting, training & managing all interns and new assistants

• I was a full time sales and design consultant for Ligne Roset where I worked the showroom floor, managed my client base, assisted in product displays, managed SF showroom website, and did all 3D modeling for prospective clientele.

• I was an intern for Studio AHEAD, a high-end residential design studio where I assisted on day to day tasks including graphic design, creative marketing, project assistance, etc.

• I did freelance work for Hannah Lowe Interiors assisting on installations, sourcing products for clients, and running errands in the design district.

Manager // Junk In The Trunk Pop-Up Vintage Market

October ‘20 - January ‘21

• For a short period, I managed a pop-up shop for a company that brings together vintage and antique dealers of all capacities for short term markets across the west coast. I ran the day to day of their Scottsdale, AZ winter market including customer service, managing the vendors, managing stock and our POS system.
